I wanted to share a tool with you!
It is called "Voice Typing".
Open any Google Doc. You can open one that you and I used together in the past.
Above the toolbar where you see "File, View, Edit...", look for "Tools". Click "Tools" and you will see a drop-down menu. Scroll down that menu and find "Voice typing":
Click on "Voice typing". Give permission to the app to use your microphone. You will notice a microphone appears on your screen on the left side. When you click that microphone icon, the icon gets bigger and changes color!
Now, everything that you say with your voice will be typed automatically in the document. The program does not include punctuation at the end of sentences. The program does not start sentences with capital letters, either. However, after speaking for a few minutes, YOU can add periods and capital letters! You can correct the typing.
Try it! This is a great way to SEE what you are saying, a great way to practice correcting English, and a great way to see if you are pronouncing things well.
Be great, Nia
